FA Charged Fergie for Ref Rant

Sir Alex Ferguson charged by the FA for improper conduct.

The English FA had charged Sir Alex Ferguson for his comments on referee Martin Atkinson after the mid week English Premier League clash with Chelsea and could face a 2 game touchline ban. Atkinson awarded Chelsea with a controversial penalty which was also Chelsea's winning goal and left Fergie furious with that decision. Fergie has cancelled his pre-match press conference ahead of Sunday's visit to Liverpool and has withdrawn from all media duties including Manchester United's in-house MUTV.
